Ramathibodi Hospital Hosts Showa Medical University Delegation to Strengthen Student Exchange Programs

On December 1, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Assistant Professor Suchin Worawichawong, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations,  warmly welcomed a distinguished delegation from Showa Medical University, Japan, for a high-level meeting aimed at bolstering academic and student mobility cooperation.

 

The visiting delegation was led by Professor Takaaki Matsuyama, M.D., Chair of the International Exchange Committee, and Professor Shizuma Tsuchiya, M.D., of the International Exchange Center/Medical Education. The central focus of the meeting was a dedicated collaborative discussion on Strengthening Student Exchange Programs between the two institutions. Following the discussion, the Showa delegation was taken on a comprehensive Facilities Tour, including the Skill Lab, Sport Center, and Dormitory, providing insight into Ramathibodi's academic and student support infrastructure.

 

This visit reaffirms the strong commitment of both Ramathibodi Hospital and Showa Medical University to fostering global collaboration in medical education and research.
